Tarpon Fishing

Join Captain Jack as he takes you on an adventure to target the species that inspired him to become a captain: the most famous inshore sport fish in the world—the Tarpon! Tarpon are highly sought-after game fish, known for their acrobatic jumps and powerful runs. These incredible fish can grow up to 8 feet long and weigh well over 250 pounds. They’ll test your strength and patience as an angler!

Captain Jack loves targeting Tarpon, with his favorite months being March through August. September through November is also a great time to fish for Tarpon, as they enjoy the last few months of consistent warm water with far fewer anglers targeting them. Call Captain Jack to find the best time to book your Fort Myers Tarpon fishing charter!

Fort Myers night fishing charters are a great way to escape the sun and avoid boat traffic! Our nighttime charters usually consist of targeting bigger fish, such as snook and redfish, if you’re looking for higher numbers. Sharks, Goliath groupers, and tarpon are also excellent options to test your strength, requiring a bit more patience as an angler at night.
